Clear as Mud - The Larger Half - A Loud Whisper -
Invisible Ink - Arrogant Humility - Military Intelligence -
ILL  Health - Turned up Missing - Thank God I'm an Atheist and the one I use all the time..... THINKING OUT-LOUD.

Do you ever use this one? it gets me in trouble all the time. For some unknown reason my wife believes that when I speak it comes from my brain, and a well thought through process. In fact, the reality is that she just doesn't get it ! Words just come from my mouth - at times - with absolutely no connection to my brain. In fact, I am often amazed at how brilliant my 'mouth' seems to be, because the particular point or thought is often the first time I have heard (or thought of that).

"How could you say that?" "Well, I didn't - it was my mouth. but I have to admit, I believe it was brilliant".  And off we go..... well, you get the idea.

Okay, here comes one..... If a River is NOT flowing is it still a River?

I would suggest that when it stops flowing it ceases to be a river, and is now a lake or pond. And if the reason for the stop in flow is because a dam has been built, then it becomes a Reservoir.

When we take control of the flow of God's Giving we inadvertently build a dam and become a Reservoir. In Genesis 12:1-3 God gave Abraham a double promise. The first was: "I will Bless you". the second was: "I will make you a Blessing". I believe that this same double blessing is given to us. When we enjoy the gifts of God without passing them on (Stop the Flow), then we fail in our purpose as Rivers - and we become Reservoirs.

THIS WAS A 'THINKING OUT-LOUD' MOMENT - LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK !
