The Next two weeks I will be at
West Africa Theological Seminary
Lagos, Nigeria

Over the next two to three weeks, I will not likely be able to post to Rivers Not Reservoirs because I will be 'on assignment' (I just made that up - but it does sound important - huh?) Actually, this will be an advance trip to WATS in anticipation of the installation of new digitized library services for the Seminary.
Dr. Udotong and the team at WATS have been working with Dr. Paul Tippey (Head Librarian) and the team at Asbury Theological Seminary over the past 2 1/2 to 3 years to bring digitized - e-book services to the Seminary. Once fully installed, WATS students, faculty and staff will have access to many of the same resources that are currently available to those in the library at Asbury.
This will be a tremendous step forward for WATS, in being able to access the volumes and volumes of digitized resources not until now available to them. And furthermore, not being limited to the card catalog of books on campus at WATS.
The teams assembled at both WATS and ATS are still hard at work configuring, loading, testing and preparing to deliver the system to WATS within a short time now. I so appreciate all of the hours of work that these folks have put in on this project. They all are living examples of 'His Rivers'.
We anticipate that the project will be completed and fully functional by the end of 2014 (less than 90 days now).
Thank you for your prayers over these next two plus weeks. I will keep you posted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS This project will cost around $17,000 to complete - including Computer Servers, Workstations, Power, Software programming, and Shipping to Nigeria. If God so lays it on your heart to be a part of this project, you can go to the Friends of WATS website to donate.
